Rift update context
September Rift coverage expands progression beyond ordinary egg runs: requested-pet exchanges, named Rift egg pools, an Abyss Overlord encounter and separate Tokens and Mastery systems. These are dated community gameplay references. The wiki keeps their mechanics distinct from the historical launch window and does not assume every feature remains unchanged.
The important systems
| System | Player decision |
|---|---|
| Machine exchange | Which requested pets can you spare? |
| Egg pool | Which current banner fits your collection? |
| Boss encounter | Did the completion credit a result? |
| Shop | Does a current item help this session? |
| Mastery | Is the visible milestone ready to claim? |
Where the evidence disagrees
Some guides describe the first percentage as a craft roll; UI reporting labels it rotation. Pity guarantees and reset rules also conflict. The registry therefore keeps supported names and relationships while omitting a combined Divine probability or an invented certainty after a fixed number of eggs.
A returning player’s checklist
- Inspect whether the current server exposes the machine or encounter.
- Read the current three-pet request rather than reusing a screenshot recipe.
- Check the displayed banner immediately before committing.
- Record tokens, Mastery and inventory as separate outcomes.
Preserve the history
Newer updates may change a feature without deleting the old launch event. Dated sources remain attached to the fields they support. A fresh site build does not turn an old screenshot into current gameplay proof.
