STEAL AN EGG WIKI / GUIDE

How to get Speed faster

Measure the Speed gained during a short treadmill session, improve the training bottleneck you can identify and repeat the measurement. The official description confirms treadmill training; actual rates and bonuses belong to your current setup. The fastest useful route is the one that reduces your measured time to a specific target.

Measure before buying

Record starting Speed, train for sixty seconds and record the ending value. Divide the difference by elapsed seconds. Repeat once under the same conditions to catch a temporary boost or timing error. Enter the average into the planner only if the two observations are reasonably consistent.

Compare the next upgrade

Read the current treadmill upgrade cost and effect in-game. If possible, repeat the same training interval after purchasing. Compare the change in rate rather than the visual appearance of the treadmill. A trail or event modifier should be measured with its duration recorded instead of silently treated as permanent.

Use a realistic target

Choose a biome or route you actually plan to use. A much larger number is not automatically a better short-term objective if your income cannot support the training investment. Set a custom target above the reference when your carried test needs more margin, and label that margin as your own decision.

Account for interruptions

The planner assumes continuous training at a stable rate. Time spent collecting, carrying or checking a base makes the wall-clock result longer. Recalculate when a temporary boost ends. Do not combine a boosted observed rate with the same multiplier again; that would count the bonus twice.
