Treadmill and Speed guide
Train on the treadmill to gain Speed, measure your current rate and use the September biome references to choose the next target. Current server values take priority over reported thresholds. The planner estimates remaining training time without assuming an undocumented multiplier.

September planning references
The progression directory now includes September biome reports, supported Rift egg pools and the official Revenge event schedule. Use these alongside the evergreen decision steps below. The guide’s revision date is separate from the dated evidence on individual records.

What the official sources confirm
Roblox lists treadmill and base upgrades in the current game description and says that training on the treadmill grants speed. The badge catalog contains an Angelic Treadmill achievement. Together, these sources establish that speed is trained and that treadmill progression extends beyond a single decorative object.
They do not establish the rate of speed gain, a maximum level, every treadmill name, or the resources required for each step. This page therefore focuses on how to decide when and why to train. Check the current in-game interface for live values and treat older screenshots as visual context rather than a balance sheet.
Why movement changes stealing and defense
Stealing creates a route problem: approach another base, reach an egg, and return while conditions change around you. Better movement can widen your options, shorten exposure, and make it easier to abandon a bad attempt. Speed also helps when you need to return to your own base or respond to another player.
Movement is not the same as safety. A fast player can still choose a crowded route, miss an exit, or commit while the defender is nearby. Treat speed as one part of a run alongside awareness, timing, and a known return path. Practice the route before attaching a valuable objective to it.
Run purposeful training sessions
Train with a specific movement problem in mind. Pick a repeatable route near your base, notice how it feels, complete a training block, and test the same route again. This creates a practical before-and-after result without needing an unverified target number. Stop when another bottleneck becomes more important.
Long uninterrupted training is not automatically efficient if it leaves income, collection decisions, or defense unattended. Alternate training with short base checks and pet comparisons. The correct rhythm depends on what the current server and your current collection require, so preserve the ability to change plans.
Improve route technique with speed
Use clean lines and visible exits instead of relying on last-second reactions. Approach from a direction that lets you see both the objective and the return route. If another player closes the safe path, leave early. Better technique makes every speed improvement more useful and reduces the temptation to search for unintended movement behavior.
On defense, learn the shortest path between your usual activities and the base. Do not stand so far away that a small speed advantage cannot help. Awareness still comes first: speed only matters after you notice a threat and choose the correct direction.
Separate treadmill upgrades from training
The description names both treadmill upgrades and training. Treat these as related but distinct decisions. An upgrade may change the training system, while training is the activity that produces speed. Read the current interface carefully so you do not assume an effect from the badge artwork or from another Roblox experience.
When you make an upgrade, test whether the training result or available option changes. When you train, test movement itself. Keeping those observations separate makes it easier to identify a rebalance and avoids attributing a pet, base, or session change to the wrong system.
Avoid common speed mistakes
Do not train toward a number copied from an unsourced list. Do not assume the highest-looking treadmill is affordable or optimal for your current loop. Do not let movement confidence turn every crowded base into a good target. These mistakes replace observation with a claim the correct game may not support.
Use speed to make planned actions more consistent. If a route remains unreliable, identify whether awareness, timing, base distance, or defense is the real cause. The best training decision is the one that changes an outcome you care about, not the one with the most dramatic visual effect.
Questions about Treadmill and Speed guide
How do you gain speed?
The official description says to train on the treadmill. Current rates and breakpoints should be checked in the live game.
Does speed guarantee a successful steal?
No. Speed supports approach and escape, but timing, awareness, route choice, and defense still decide whether a run is sensible.
