Best pets for your next goal
Choose the pet that improves your next goal, not the one with the most dramatic thumbnail. September rosters offer more names and acquisition leads, but their income figures do not consistently describe the same size, mutation or patch. Compare your measured results and the cost of acquiring them.
Choose the metric first
For money, use retained income under the same conditions. For collection, the useful result is a missing Index slot or a wanted specimen. For a reported Rift exchange, the useful pet may instead be a requested input. A single tier ranking cannot represent all three objectives.
Write down the result you want before picking a target. A rare hatch with an unknown rate is a collection lead, not a measured financial improvement. Keep pets used in your current reliable income loop separate from spare exchange inputs.
Compare current specimens
Record the exact name, displayed income, quantity, size and mutation. Observe both candidates with the same active bonuses. If your rate already reflects a bonus, do not multiply it again in a calculator.
The comparator accepts two to six rows and ranks rate times quantity. Notes preserve size and mutation context without silently adding an unsupported coefficient. Empty inputs stay unknown, so a blank pet is not ranked as a real zero-income result.

Price the route in time and resources
Open the source egg before choosing a Rift target. The banner, requested pets and possible outcomes have to match the current server; a past chances panel is not a promise. For biome routes, include the training and return trip in your comparison.
A slightly smaller income improvement can be the better next move if you can obtain and retain it reliably. Keep your current setup until you understand what the proposed transaction consumes.

Recheck after the next update
Record when your comparison was measured and repeat it after a changed rate, modifier or server notice. A new pet name does not invalidate every older specimen, while an income rebalance can invalidate a remembered ranking immediately. Use the update hub for context, then verify the actual result in-game.
No universal S-tier or published base-income table is certified in this release. The supported Rift names and source associations remain useful without converting uncertain numerical claims into a definitive ranking.
